10 Tricks for Working from Home
Hamsa Ramesha | HRPeople

In a century where convenience is the standard form of measurement, telecommuting is growing in popularity. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2005, more than 11 million people worked from home — that’s about 8 percent of the U.S. population!
And what’s not to love about telecommuting? When you can work from the comfort of your home, skip commuter traffic, set your own hours, and live outside of corporate politics, telecommuting offers all the conveniences without any of the tiresome obstacles.
But as tantalizing as a telecommuting career may be, it’s certainly not for everyone. Telecommuting comes at a price and offers its own set of challenges. When your work life and home life collide, the result can be messy. Follow these 10 tricks to telecommuting success.

I like all the informations presented here. I am currently working part-time from home and I agree that you have to be professional even if you are just working from home. The same principles apply as if you are working from the office.

work at home means you have to do everything yourself, including to go out to buy stationaries. knowing how to schedule between work and private life is important. knowing how to make friends after works is also critical.
