6 Principles to Guide Your Job Search
Geoffrey James | Monster

People tend to say yes if they feel they owe you something.
Example: Charities double their response when they include a dozen personalized address labels inside their direct-mail packages.
On the Interview: Always enter the interview with the attitude that you’re there to help rather than be helped. When sincerely felt and expressed, this automatically creates a sense of obligation on the part of the interviewer.

The information presented here does seem a little manipulative (re: jorgeros), but when I took a second look at the tips each one made sense. The suggested behaviors and responses should be inherent if I truly want the job I am applying for. Thanks for the information; love the article!

This all sounds good, but it really sounds very manipulative, you're tugging at the people's sub-conscious here. I hate how each response is paginated, because now I'm forgetting what I was going to say, what's the reason for that? Do you get more hits that way? it's really very annoying. These aren't flashcards, we're not trying to memorize all this, it would be much better to have it all one one page, without the flashy pictures. Oh no, maybe then people would realize that there's actually not much content here.
