| Posted 22 days ago As this group starts up I think it should be a place where people trying to break into the accounting industry ask questions and share experiences they gone through -- interviews with accounting firms, job fairs, getting recruited, studying for the CPA exam, starting out with a Big 4 firm, etc. Another great resource for people who are looking to become accountants or people who are already accountants/auditors who would like to network with others in their field is LedgerLink. It's the same sort of site as Monster College, but with more accounting-specific info. http://ledgerlink.monster.com/

| Posted 11 days ago Well, I am just starting my accounting courses now. I am towards the end of my Financial Accounting class, or Acct 2101. Lol. It is very interesting stuff and something I can get into greatly. I am still just having a little bit of a rough time remembering it knowing that everything you learn in one accounting class is used throughout all accounting for the most part. Being this is the first class, I know it is the most important. Lol. How about the rest of the people here? Who else is just starting to get into accounting or near finishing their courses and getting their CPA? |
