Posted 21 days ago I lost this job that I had in high school after I entered college about a year ago, and soon afterwards, my mother lost her own job, so now there's no income coming into the house and I can't keep going to her for money for my books and everything since she decided to go back to college earlier this year. I've been working at this last job for about two years, so I have enough experience to work with a cashier, so I decided to try regular stores and whatnot (Hot Topic, Macy's, Banana Republic, etc.) I've looked EVERYWHERE-- well, at least at some retail stores that said that they were hiring. So far, I only got one interview, but that was a major disaster. It's been a year now since I lost my job, and no matter where I go, I can't find a job. It's starting to drive me nuts a little and I've pretty much given up with the job search and now i'm posting some stuff on HubPages since they have this royalty system set up and everything, but that's not going well either. do I just have bad luck or something? |

| Posted 12 days ago I'm in the same boat. I lost my job in July, but I've been looking since March of 2008. I used to always see signs at the Mall "Seasonal Help Wanted." We went today and I didn't see a single sign out. Chelle |
