The 10 Worst Fashion Mistakes: Women
Anna Hennings, Kayla Baxter, and Alice Handley
Scrunchies

Because scrunchies went out of fashion at the same time fanny packs did. Wearing one only emphasizes your need for a makeover, not a raise. Bows, or ribbons tied into bows, also fall into this particular don’t. Ribbons in your hair are appropriate for the seventh grade cheerleading squad and other teenage displays of team unity. Not. Professional.
There’s nothing a scrunchie can do that an ouchless hair elastic band can’t. Other options for pulling your hair back? Bobby pins, clips, headbands, hair scarves – even a hat, if your workplace is business casual enough.

i agree with stebbsc06, depending on where you work of course, leggings can be fine if worn appropreately. Under a dress, with no runs or holes or bunching, with nice heels or flats. ...at that point, they're practically like opaque tights.

Some of these I would have thought were obvious, but all well. I do have to add that crocs, while unprofessional, are great for working in the kitchens of restaurants. They slip-proof and comfortable, so you won't have as sore feet after being on your feet all day. As long as it's ok with whoever's in charge, crocs wouldn't be so bad.

I disagree with stebbsc06. Leggings look unprofessional. Additionally, they're hideous - especially the ones pictured: shiny and abrasive.
I really like this article. I feel like they're all no-brainers, but apparently there was a need to address it.

i think leggings are fine for work. I don't see a problem with them. I usually wear them with a dress... as long as you can't see your butt clearly... i don't think there's a problem.. then again there are people who can wear them and then people who definitely can't. I always get complimented for my clothing choices.. i really thinks it depends on the individual and the outfit.
